❤ Parts of Speech ❤

• Parts of Speech :- Words are divided according in to they are used for. The different kinds of words are called Parts of Speech.

         There are nine parts of speech in the English language.

• 1- Noun 2- Pronoun 3- Article. 4- Verb 5-Adverb 6- Adjective 7-Preposition 8- Conjunction 9-Interjection.

Noun :-
The name of person, or  place or stuff (thing) is called a noun .
Example :- 

1. Andrea (Noun) has a book. 
2.  This is a cat.(Noun) 
3.  That is our university ( Noun)

Pronoun :-
Pronoun is used instead of a noun. or used in place of noun ( I ,You , He , She , They, Who, etc, )
Example :-  

1.  Alex is my friend. Alex is my neighbor.
   Alex is my friend . He s my neighbor.
2. James reads in 9th class. James is lazy student.
   James reads in 9th class . He is lazy student.

Article :-
The word which is used before the nouns to theorize that qualities in its meaning is called article.

1. That is a letter.
2. This is an umbrella.
3. The shape of egg is oval.

Verb :-
A verb is words used for saying something about the activity of a person or things.
Example:-

1. She reads (verb) blog.
2. He played (verb) hide and seek.
3. I have received (verb) your parcel. 

Adjective:-

It used to tell us qualities of  noun or pronoun 

Example:-

1. Aslan is a tall boy.
2. She is good at playing.
3. Michelle has won several prizes.

Adverb :-

Adverbs are those words which are used to qualifies or prominent or add something to the meaning of a verb , an adjective or other adverbs.

1. Tiger runs fast.
2. It was highly risk to perform this act.
3. Snail comes slowly.

Preposition :-

Preposition  are words which are used to placed before the noun or pronoun or thing or stuff .

Example:-

1. slice on the plate.
2. John is at door.
3. The empty ink-pot in the dustbin.

Conjunction :-

Conjunction which joins the . paragraphs,words & sentences.

Example:-

1. James and johnny are brothers.
2. He is sick but hopeful.
3. Give me a noodles or sandwich.

Interjection :-

Interjection are those words which express the Quick (Sudden,Unusual,Rapid)

Example :-

1. Hurrah ! I have won a game.
2. Alas ! i have lost my Car.
